Dev(AfterWork) is a meetup specially developed for IT professionals who want to get together after work and enjoy friendly talks about technologies and related subjects from IT area.

Together with Alexandru Ene and Lucian Popovici we invite you to join a 2 hours meetup around  “New technologies for old problems ”.

”New technologies for old problems” will showcase some of the industrial and technological challenges being adrdressed inside Deutsche Bank’s technology centre, and focus on the pivotal role of new tools, technologies and frameworks in addressing these old issues.

We will look up at the opportunities brought by Java 8 and Continuous Integration means and how we are striving to achieve it, delve into old concepts such as version control and their new twists suc as database version control, why infrastructure done right means and how it can save you a lot of headaches and more.

We will also take a tour of one of the most development oriented offices in Bucharest and enjoy light refreshments and meaningful conversation!


Targeted audience: For a better understanding of the subjects please take into the consideration that we recommend at least 2 years of experience in Java, Oracle, Mobile or as Frontend. 

We will be waiting for you on Wednesday, 25 th of May, starting 6 pm, at DB Global Technology Premise, on 6A, Dimitrie Pompeiu Boulevard.
