Careers in Europe holds unique, invitation-only events at which top international employers meet and interview the very best graduates and early-career professionals for a wide variety of positions throughout the continent.

Each year we accept only a handful of the best people for the IGP: university graduates from a wide range of disciplines, who think like entrepreneurs and who have completed their degree courses quickly and with above-average marks. You will not only have an interest in the energy sector, you will also find strategic challenges attractive, and will want to develop solutions which are appropriate in the rapidly-changing energy sector. You are flexible enough to enjoy learning about subjects outside your own discipline, and are willing to relocate every 3 to 4 months. Additionally, you should have good language skills in English and German, and some international experience.

Responsabilitati / Realizari

You will spend 18 months on a programme whose design you can shape and which will build on your personal strengths, working in Germany and abroad. After that you will be ready to get on with what you do best: using your own energy and enthusiasm to get people and projects moving. Over the course of the programme you will be able to build a clear picture of our business activities and gain deep insights into our corporate culture. The IGP is one of many building blocks in our systematic approach to talent management and succession planning here at RWE. It creates the best conditions for building a successful career. Our group-wide IGP has a generalist orientation, promotes entrepreneurial spirit and intercultural competency. And it demands a high degree of personal initiative: particularly when the challenge is to combine your theoretical knowledge with the practical experience you are gaining in a meaningful way.
