Requirements:

• Proven experience of minimum 2 years in the intensive use, installation and troubleshooting for Windows Vista and XP, as well as for Microsoft Office Package;
• Advanced knowledge and experience in configuring Windows 2003 server – file/print server;
• Hands-on experience with NT Backup;
• Basic networking knowledge;
• Proficiency in English;
• Client oriented attitude and must be a team player;
• Problem solving and analytical skills;
• Attention to details, ability to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously;
• Positive attitude, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desired Skills:

• Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician Certification;
• Previous experience with a ticketing application.

Responsabilitati

Responsibilities:

• Provide first level support for end-users in terms of IT applications and general computer usage;
• Provides technical support by performing installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of personal computer and related software/hardware;
• Trouble shoots software and hardware failures and identifies network problems when related to personal desktop computers;
• Activities include recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up steps;
• Screens, refers, and diagnoses internal inquiries and work requests as they relate to maintenance of personal computers utilizing experience and understanding of Dell Perot Systems' MIS environment;
• May also provide some phone support;
• Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative;
• Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions;
• Under little supervision, plans, installs, and tests less complex vendor supplied computer system hardware or software.
