The Bucharest centre aim was to to provide high-value and cost-effective remote processing services to customers in the EMEA-region (Europe, Middle East and Africa).  SAP Certified Technology Consultant - SAP NetWeaver - OS/DB Migration for SAP System
 SAP Certified Technology Associate (or Professional) - System Administration (Oracle DB) with SAP Netweaver 7.0
 Migration Experience with SAP R3/Load Method and R3/Load Migration Tools
 Experience with SAP Upgrade and SAP Unicode Conversions
 Database Systems: Oracle (DBA Knowledge)
 Experience with Oracle Migrations - Oracle Export/Import, Oracle Transportable Tablespace
 Other Database Migration Experience (DB2, Sybase, Informix etc..) is a plus
 Experience with Unix scripting
 Programming languages: C/C++ , Java is a plus
 Operating Systems : HP-UX, Linux, Windows (experience with SUN-Solaris, AIX is a plus)
 3 years of relevant professional IT background
 Strong interest in working in SAP implementation projects
 Fluent in conversational, written and technical English
 Excellent communication skills in writing, presenting and listening
 Strong analytical skills working in a highly complex IT environment.
 Ability to assimilate information and build new expertise quickly
 Strong interpersonal skills: able to collaborate and work in a virtual team, good initiative and follow-up
 Flexibility to travel
 Have another language is a plus (German, Spanish, French, Italian)

Responsabilitati

• Work for SAP application and Database Migrations, works for SAP implementation and integration projects.
• Participate in all stages of the SAP implementation from customer environment assessment and requirements analysis over system configuration and design until migration, testing and customer support.
• Work in an international and virtual team together with other SAP project team members as well as with global and local business contacts from the customer.
• Ongoing support of the SAP application will be handed over to a separate organization and is not part of this role.
• Get training as required, both formal in-house training as well as on the job training
• Frequent business travel within the EMEA region is necessary
• Ensure customer satisfaction all along the project life cycle

The SAP project implementation engineer participates in the migration of SAP customer environment at the country level in the EMEA region.
He/she is engaged on the projects by the country sales and pre-sales consultants from either the products or the services organization.

The SAP project implementation engineer mainly acts during the pre-sales and post-sales phases of the customer projects and contributes actively in the success of SAP customer environment migration from any platform to HP based platforms running HP-UX or Linux or Windows.
