In 2006 opened the HP Bucharest-based operations center - Global E-Business Operation Centre. The Bucharest centre aim was to to provide high-value and cost-effective remote processing services to customers in the EMEA-region (Europe, Middle East and Africa). Presently, we are one of the largest employers in Romania with almost 1500 specialists with multi-lingual capabilities to support financial and administrative business processes for partners and customers in the region. Experience: At least 4 years practical experience in Oracle 9i /10g •At least 4 years practical experience in HP-UX or other Unix flavors •Experience in Oracle 10g RAC and High Availability environment •Experience in RMAN, backup, restore and disaster recovery •Experience in Oracle patching and upgrades •Experience in Oracle performance management and optimizations •Experience in Oracle export and import •Experience in Backup environments and knowledge in HP Dataprotector •Practical experience in Project Management •Experience in other Web and Middleware technologies will be an advantage •Hands-on experience with Installation, Configuration, Patching and Upgrade Qualifications: •Analytical problem-solving and root cause analysis skills •Ability to analyze problems with experts from other domains (application, database, network, hardware, other) •Good judgment about criticality / priority of all tasks •Service oriented behavior and communication to internal and external contacts •Good communication skills (Communication to customers verbal and written is mandatory) •Team player •Good understanding of ITIL/ITSM •Language: fluent in English (written and spoken); other languages are a plus Knowledge in the technologies below will be considered as an advantage: •Good understanding of Web and Middleware Environment architectures. •Ability to tune and optimize access and performance Technical skills (procedures and documents the employee has to be acquainted with): Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) •Certified Systems Administrator (CSA) HP-UX will be an advantage •Good understanding of high availability environments, Service Guard knowledge Knowledge in the technologies below will be considered as an advantage: •Knowledge in WebLogic 8, WebLogic 9, WebLogic 10 and Oracle Application Server 10g on UNIX (HP-UX and Solaris), Linux and Windows •Knowledge in Sun Java System Web Server and Apache Web Server Education (degree) required: •Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems or equivalent experience |

| Responsabilitati / Realizari | |||||

The DTS Engineer’s main responsibilities are: •work on complex incidents •identify and solve problems •change management planning and execution •define and execute work orders to implement changes •customer contact on the projects/tasks he is responsible for •provide consulting •implementation and system management •availability and capacity management •research and develop technical solutions for HP customers To fulfill these tasks, regular standby and weekend work is expected. Key deliverables/accountabilities: •Ongoing support activities to be performed according to SLAs and defined timelines •Projects and tasks to be performed with the highest quality and according to predefined timelines •Strictly follow HP ITSM/ITIL processes and procedures Working relationships: Internal: •Other Technical Owners within the team •Other Internal Support Teams •Delivery Leads •Account Support Team members •Project Managers •Service Delivery Managers / Team Leads External: •Third Party support teams |
