Role Requirements
• Expert level - 5-8 years - experience with Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat) server administration, administering high performance environments and creating performance tuning plans
• Knowledge of Scripting Languages
• Experience with MySQL Database Administration - executing SQL commands, using Master-Slave configurations and backup and recovery
• Theoretical knowledge of IP networking and use of network devices such as Firewalls, Load Balancers, Switches and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
• Knowledge of system administration procedures, preferably the ITIL and ISO 27002 frameworks
• Experience in installation, configuration, testing and patching of operating systems, web servers, application servers, databases, proxy servers, etc.
• Ability to analyze Information Security Procedures and help implement the same across all of IT and business
• Ability to apply corporate guidelines and business specific policies to production environments
• Experience using open source tools including monitoring and alerting frameworks
• Experience in the following is considered a plus: Amazon cloud computing, RightScale or Scalr frameworks, administration of a PCI compliant Web application
• Fluent in Romanian and English, verbal and written communications

Responsabilitati

Responsibilities:
The Senior Systems Administrator will develop, optimize and maintain service level compliance for all customer-facing IT infrastructure at the company. This individual will be a part of the Support & Operations team focused on building and supporting hosted software services, with responsibility for creating solutions and operating the infrastructure related to the hosted services system.

Primary Role Responsibilities
• Systems Administration. The Senior Systems Administrator will provide systems administration for a wide range of servers (Linux and windows), network devices (Firewall, Load Balancers, etc) and associated services.
• Compliance. This individual will implement and enforce company security policies and procedures in compliance with PCI or other required security standards.
• Infrastructure Design. The Senior Systems Administrator will participate in designing the infrastructure for web based application farms on physical or virtualized / cloud environments. In addition, this individual is expected to be a part of the second line support organization for infrastructure issues.
• On-Call Support. The Senior Systems Administrator will handle and resolve issues escalated from the production environments on an on-call basis, 24/7.
