Qualifications

-You have a very good understanding of general software testing principles, and strong hands-on testing experience.
-Logical, organized and systematic approach to SW testing.

-You have a BS or MS degree and several (typically 4-6) years of relevant experience in software testing tasks. The development work will follow agile and iterative methods so good team working and communication skills will be essential. Multi-site co-operation will require good command of English.

Unit Description

The Services unit plays a leading role in shaping Nokia's growth and transformation into an Internet company by generating new revenue streams based on software and services. Thus, it is poised to fundamentally change the perception of Nokia in the market. The Services Unit's portfolio of services creates opportunities for people to connect to each other and the things that matter to them. The developed services and software can be used on PCs, online or on mobile devices, they can be distributed independently or embedded in devices, they can be delivered to both Nokia and to non-Nokia devices and they can be monetized through multiple business models: transaction, subscription, and/or advertising.

Position Description

Premium Services is the latest offering in Nokia services. We are creating a state-of-the-art experience for mobile Internet users providing them with a new, innovative, easy and efficient way to consume and find new Internet services that matter to them. Our concept combines the mobile device and online to a create common interworking whole. We will also personalize the Internet content for the end users by using contextual information like location data for their purposes.

At Nokia Services Social Location R&D we are looking for experienced QA engineers to join our services testing team. We are developing consumer products in a very robust and scalable server architecture serving millions of concurrent users.
