Cerinte

Education:
Technical study of Informatics, Mathematics, Electronics or similar.

Requested technical competences:
• Minimum 4 years of practical experience with embedded design projects
• Strong knowledge of C language (C++ experience is considered a plus); basic Assembler know-how
• Practical experience with at least one of the following Microcontrollers: C167/164, XE167, Tricore, ARM7, ATMega, PIC
• Knowledge of real-time Operating Systems: PxROS (experience), Sciopta & OSE Epsilon (fundamentals)
• Experience with GNU compilers: gcc, g++, hightec C166
• Knowledge of In-circuit emulations
• Knowledge of Event Driven Programming
• Good knowledge of Unix /Linux platforms
• Experience of full project lifecycle: design and documentation, development, unit testing, refactoring, deployment and maintenance.
• Strong C++ skills (at least 2 years experience).
• Strong understanding of OOA / OOD concepts.
• UML.
• Experience with version control systems.

The following would be considered significant assets:
• Experience with developing safety critical or real-time embedded systems
• Knowledge of other Compilers : Keil, ArmRealView, IAR
• Debugger know-how: Vector (PLS)
• DDTS/ClearQuest experience
• Knowledge of Clear Case/Subversions or other SW configuration management solutions
• DOORS experience

Languages:
• Fluency in English
• German and Spanish are a plus

Responsabilitati

Development of software applications for interlocking systems used in the railway field
• Architecture definition on subsystem level
• Design, Implementation/Coding and Unit/Module testing
• Maintain existing product features, resolve issues and fix bugs

• Documentation
• Regular progress reporting
