In 2006 opened the HP Bucharest-based operations center - Global E-Business Operation Centre. The Bucharest centre aim was to to provide high-value and cost-effective remote processing services to customers in the EMEA-region (Europe, Middle East and Africa). Presently, we are one of the largest employers in Romania with almost 1500 specialists with multi-lingual capabilities to support financial and administrative business processes for partners and customers in the region. Education and Experience Required First level university degree or equivalent experience Typically 2-4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain function. Knowledge and Skills Required Mastery in English Intermediate Turkish language skills Developed understanding of procurement processes Demonstrated analytical and technical aptitude. Commodity Buying Understands the business/operational requirements involved in supplier selection and the processes that contribute to optimum decision making Procurement Improvement (Ops) Represents a supply chain perspective in materials planning and procurement services as the basis for improving manufacturing efficiency & effectiveness, and obtaining best-in-class rates Procurement Business Context Understands the wider context of procurement and actively seeks to leverage industry practices and innovations for the benefit of HP Acquisition Planning Develops procurement plans cognizant of forecast requirements, cost parameters, and HP\'s best business interests Contract Pricing Formulates pricing positions with vendors based on a solid understanding of all salient factors, including the risks involved and strategies for mitigating Contract Formation Develops and awards contracts based on clear business objectives and the knowledge transfer requisite for appropriate vendor preparation Contract Administration Ensures that contracts are administered in a way that nurtures positive vendor relationships while protecting HP\'s business interests Contractual Pay-Out Attends to quality and compliance factors in detail when managing payouts to protect HP\'s assets and ensure positive ROI for procurement investments Change Management Develops methods for supporting innovation and change across the organization Problem Solving Approaches problems in a rational manner using sound strategies that ensure comprehensive understanding and effective resolution |

Provides procurement support, focusing on multiple simple- to-complex, commodities, as well as specific technologies, to develop expertise. Collaborates with internal and external partners (e.g., finance, legal) to meet business objectives and ensure control and compliance requirements across businesses. Performs tasks as assigned and applies experience to align individual work with overall strategy using discretion and judgment. Collaborates with teams to maintain and enhance the current operations and processes. Executes process improvements. Participates in Supplier Selection activities. May lead activities for less complex domains. Assesses the supply base of category Negotiations contracts with low-risk suppliers; engages with low-complexity suppliers; may be responsible for day-to-day operations of low complexity suppliers Executes standard risk mitigation and business continuity; cost management and operations strategies; identifies common contract risk areas. Works across multiple countries and businesses; regional or sub-regional engagement. Assigned moderately complex procurement responsibilities. |
