Cerinte

Education:

Technical study of Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronics or similar.

Requested technical competences:

• Strong experience in software development (at least 3 years experience).
• Very strong understanding of OOA / OOD concepts.
• Very good knowledge of programming languages, especially C and C++
. Knowledge of scripting languages, preferably Python
• Experience with source control and defect management systems

The following would be considered significant assets:

• Understanding of safety critical application development s
• Knowledge in the railway field
• Good understanding of software testing process
• Knowledge of ClearCase and ClearQuest

• Flexibility and availability to travel abroad from time to time.

Languages:

• English
• French is mandatory, at least intermediate level

Responsabilitati

Development, validation and integration of software applications used in the railway field.

Job responsibilities:

• Write software specification based on system requirements
. Design and code the applicatiions according to the specification
• Perform validation and integration activities when needed: write test specification, perform tests and fill in reports
• Write documentations for all phases of the project lifecycle, in both English and French languages
• Act as a technical expert in software development, providing assistance to the other engineers, coaching and mentoring new members of the team.
