Misys is seeking a Technical Writer with experience writing client-facing documentation to join our Treasury and Capital Markets Documentation team. This role will be responsible for designing and writing online documentation for our Summit FT product implementations, as well as editing and maintaining existing documentation with an emphasis on customer-focused deployment and operations content.

The successful candidate must develop extensive knowledge of the company's products, processes and customer goals. Must be an abstract and creative thinker, capable of learning and summarizing complex concepts and issues.


Requirements:
 Excellent oral and written English communication skills, self-motivated, detail-oriented and have the ability to work well independently and as part of a team
 Ability to describe and communicate a process, system and/or product in an organized professional document
 Knowledge of documentation process, including writing, editing, graphics, production, Help authoring and information design
 Active listening skills
 Active learning skills (proactive in learning a new business)
 Knowledge of authoring tools including, but not limited to Robohelp/RoboHTML, Framemaker, HTML Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat is preferred.
 Experience using graphics effectively to communicate ideas, managing multiple technical writing assignments, writing logical instructions is a plus
 Willingness and desire to grow and develop in a fast-paced, exciting environment
 Experience documenting C++/C# APIs, software implementations or financial concepts is a plus
Education and Experience Minimum Qualifications:
 0-3 years of technical writing or equivalent experience writing customer-facing software documentation. Financial software experience is preferred.
 Finance/Computer Science/English

Responsabilitati

Responsibilities:
 Work with development teams, product managers and business centers to develop, write and maintain end-user, system administration and/or developer documentation.
 Work with other writers to develop and maintain online Help, tutorials and release notes.
 Learn the product functionality through interviews with subject matter experts, personal use and experimentation.
