General IT skills, Windows, maybe also Linux OS
Basic network technologies
Good knowledge in JAVA, including GUI like JDeveloper or Eclipse
Good knowledge in HTML, Javascript
Basic XML
Good skills in development of web applications (preferably Java/JSP, but could also be PHP or similar; important is knowledge of basic web concepts like request, session, authentication, etc.)
At least some basic knowledge in database technologies (SQL, preferably Oracle)
Communication skills (essential for working in global distributed team)

Responsabilitati

Participate in application design, feature discussions both within the team and with others in the company
Create engineering specs and algorithms describing features for area of responsibility
Work with team members to create the code to implement these algorithms. The code should be scalable, reliable, robust, maintainable, extensible, efficient, understandable, and conform to current programming techniques
Test, debug, and measure the performance of the implemented features
Stay current with advances in Oracle tech stack

Global IT Automation Services Team is responsible for creating, improving and providing Applications to maximize the efficiency and accuracy of core GIT business processes thereby minimizing manual and repetitive tasks.

As a member of the Automation Services Development, you will take an active role in defining and developing automated solutions for new complex internal applications. You will also be responsible for preparing design documents, coding, and testing/debugging of software applications.
