    We are currently recruiting for a Quality Performance Manager as part of the Global Quality Compliance & Performance team based in Southampton - United Kingdom, reporting to the Senior Quality Performance Manager, and being responsible to provide and deliver group wide Quality performance measurement, analysis based on results consolidated, and reporting to drive British American Tobacco to Quality Excellence

    The role holder will be working very closely with various functions and across several levels of the organization, providing results, analysis and opportunities for continuous improvement

    The role is exercised through strong influencing skills working with global and regional stakeholders, mainly within the network of Quality professionals (4 Regional Quality Managers with their teams and over 150 local Quality Managers). It is expected to work mainly across the Quality organization, but also with multiple functions internally. Influence decisions on quality initiatives that trigger competitive advantages and support wise investment in our processes & technology capabilities.

    *Essential requirements
    •Degree level in Mathematics or applied science with relevant Statistics qualification
    •Basic understanding of consumer centric quality management principles.
    •Experience of establishing quality protocols and procedures.
    •Strong IT skills (dB, Excel, Minitab or similar) and data analysis
    •Knowledge and experience of SPC and CI tools.
    •Experience in working across multiple functions/projects is preferred.
    •Effective influencing, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
    •Ability to adapt fast and self-develop.

    Desirable requirements
    •Experience of the tobacco industry and its processes.

    Responsabilitati

    Principal Accountabilities:
    •Request, validate and aggregate quality data and KPIs from the regions, factories & end markets. Capture the OTIF for reporting from regions, factories and end markets and escalate deviations from agreed reporting performance levels to the Group Quality Leadership Team.
    •Administrate the Global Quality reporting tools by managing the users, issuing communications to user groups and coordinating with Global & Regional IT to maintain the relevant data and dashboard files for the server.
    •Review, challenge, validate and track the Root Cause Analysis (RCA and CAPAs that are identified during the analysis and compilation of the Quality Performance Updates with the geographies, factories and end markets for trends and opportunities identified from analysis to ensure continuous improvement.
    •Work directly with Quality Performance community leading discussions in the regions to continuously improve the quality reporting and performance management processes, templates and systems in alignment with the Global Quality Strategy.
    •Provide support to the Senior Quality Performance Manager in the delivery and development of the Global Quality Dashboard.
    •Lead the development, deployment and improvement of reporting tools (e.g. GQPE and RQA enablement) and define user requirements from the global administrative perspective.
    •Ensure reports are available to regions and factories / End markets in agreed timelines.
    •Compile & review performance update presentations for engagement within the Quality Team and key external stakeholders

    The Global Quality team is responsible for measuring the implementation of the Quality strategy and the quality performance of the key business processes within the company. In turn, the Quality Performance team play a role in the setting of quality standards, leading the roll out of strategic initiatives into the regions and defining KPIs to drive continuous improvement in quality.
