    Requirements

    For our client, a dynamic multinational insurance & pension company, we are looking for a motivated Accounting Specialist to develop a perfectly rounded finance career by gaining exposure to all the different facets that are required to make you into a skilled and successful finance professional:

    Requirements

    - Have accounting background in BOP companies and be familiar with technical accounting activities such as premiums, commissions, technical reserves etc.
    - Know what does it mean to assume responsibility for the process or project you are accountable for
    - Represent analytical skills and attention to detail enabling you to make sure whatever you and your colleagues do is correct
    - Know how to deal with people in professional environment of the high pressure: manage expectations, develop partnering relations with colleagues, be persistent to get what you need, gain an authority, influence others, keep yourself and others energized and motivated in all circumstances
    - Be a fan of efficiency, known by others as problem solver and issue fixer
    - Like to think and proceed in a structured and organized way and being able to help others in structuring their work and thinking

    Responsibilities

    - Hold the responsibility for key accounting processes and projects for the core life insurance areas i.e. premiums, commissions, technical reserves etc.
    - Be the guardian of the data quality and control in the assigned area
    - Expand your technical accounting knowledge in assigned areas and ensure it is properly managed (collected, developed, shared, and effectively used)
    - Coach junior accountants in order to grow their skills and maintain their high level of motivation and engagement
    - Be part of a highly effective and dynamic finance team, at the heart of the organization
    - Have a day-to-day work increasingly stimulating and varied
