We are a Romanian company called RAI Software, which develops since 2005 the next gen of VOIP apps (starting from the UI to the back-end), and we have hundreds of clients in over 50 countries, even though we are a small team of 10 people (programmers, support and sales).
Requirements
* English proficiency (written and spoken)
* Customer oriented and focused on problem resolution and SLA's
* Effective administration of Windows and Linux based infrastructure (OS, SMTP, virtualization, web sites, SW environments, backup etc);
* Networking savvy: TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/S, SSH, routers and proxys, firewall, ISPs.
* Team player who is self motivated and can also work independently;
* Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
Would be Plus
* PostreSQL programming (SQL) and administration (tuning)
* Programming knowledge in any of C/C++, Java, scripting languages is a plus - you might even have a chance of switching to our development team if you're up to it;
* Willing and able to learn quickly new skills and technologies - after all, we are developing the next gen of VOIP apps'
What Will You Do
* Offer L2 support and assistance to RAI clients answering their requests and questions.
* Be responsible of maintaining RAI's infrastructure, applications, and tools.
* Connect remotely to servers in order to gather necessary information, investigate and resolve client's incidents.
* Execute remote interventions and monitoring activities on the customer's servers when necessary.
* Identify tasks requested by the customer that do not fit in the maintenance scope and initiate change requests accordingly.
* Update incidents trackers using RAI's ticketing & tracking tools.
Job Details
On site, in Bucharest, central location (Traian Street, Ilion Offices, 8th Floor);
Full time contract and schedule (8 hours/day, 5 days/week) with flexible hours;
We provide support to our clients and to our team, Monday to Friday during 10AM until 10PM, so you will work during this interval, in shifts, by rotation.
