    Requirements

    • Civil Engineer - concrete, construction related field;
    • 5+ years’ experience in concrete testing preferred;
    • Be able to understand and explain technical subjects internally or to customer;
    • Good problem solving skills;
    • Very good teamwork and interpersonal skills;
    • Very good computer skills;
    • Proficient user of English Language.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform tasks within a concrete laboratory environment;
    • Collect raw, in-process, and product samples;
    • Process and accurately analyze samples;
    • Communicate effectively results, observations, and process changes either verbally or written to other departments or clients;
    • Operate testing equipment - checks / calibration;
    • Continuous improvements in products, or work in developing new products;
    • Provide technical support and expertise - responsible and accountable for meeting internal and customer specifications, as well as documenting and certifying that shipped material meets applicable requirements;
    • Identify and record quality issues and initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformance in the product;
    • Control further processing/delivery of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected;
    • Properly resolve and investigate customer concerns and complaints;
    • Work under general / minimal supervision;
    • Customarily 20-30% travel time;
    • Maintain effective relations with customer services, sales, production personnel and authorities.
