Then join us in the NXP Romania Security and Cryptography team to learn both about the concepts used in cryptography and the practical aspects of accelerating cryptographic operations using NXP processors.
During your internship you will gain practical experience into how the Linux crypto subsystem works, what are the APIs offered to programmers of security and crypto applications, how NXP processors implement crypto acceleration for symmetric key encryption, hashing, public key operations, and combined protocol operations for wireline and wireless data communication. You will get a rewarding experience by upstreaming code, you will contribute to the official Linux kernel tree by submitting functionality for NXP crypto acceleration engines.
We consider the following as a plus to ensure your successful internship stage:
- Openness to learning new concepts based on a background in networking
- Strong willingness to deliver high-quality software products
- Programming practice under Linux (C, C++, scripting)
- General CPU/Computer architecture know-how
- Linux operating system, including kernel drivers
- English (spoken and written)
