Senior DevOps Engineer, Location: Bucharest

Sales Consulting activates on the HR market since 1998, having a national coverage in several areas of expertise: recruiting and selection assessment center HR market mapping/due diligence projects, personnel leasing, payroll.

Sales Consulting has 2 fully operational branches: Cluj-Napoca (also the head-office) and Bucharest.
We are developing various projects (Recruitment, Training and Consultancy) in some of the most varied type of industries:
- AUTOMOTIVE/PRODUCTION/ENGINEERING (Specialists and Middle & Top Management positions)
- OUTSOURCING (BPO/SSC/CC)
- IT & C (C++, C#, .NET, Java, Linux etc)
- FMCG (sales & purchasing positions; all levels)
- PHARMA (all levels)

Our client is an international online distribution and digital product company which utilises its proprietary marketing technology platforms to prospect, optimise and monetise mobile and web media.

— 3+ years of experience with Linux administration, understand system performance areas;
— Excellent knowledge and experience with monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing production systems, including during off hours and weekend shifts;
— Experience with cloud computing (e.g. Amazon, Google Cloud, etc.);
— Hands-on experience with two or more scripting languages (such as: Bash/Ruby/Python);
— Experience with Git, GitHub;
— Experience automating large scale deployments with modern configuration and deployment management systems (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Docker, etc.);
— Ability to carry out monitoring and performance metrics analysis using common monitoring tools (e.g. ELK, Graphite, NewRelic, etc.);
— Knowledge of best practices relating to security, performance, and monitoring;
— Experience with administering large-scale web applications on modern platforms;
— Experience provisioning and operating relational databases (MySQL);
— Experience provisioning and operating NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis ...) a plus;
— Knowledge of product delivery automation;
— Familiarity with DevOps culture.

— Take responsibility for the availability and reliability of our services;
— Programming automation related to DevOps (Git, Bash, Python and/or Ruby);
— Development of our Configuration Management infrastructure (Chef, Ansible);
— Planning and executing projects to improve production infrastructure;
— Performing and automating application deployments;
— Monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing production systems;
— Performing root-cause analysis for service interruptions and creating preventative measures for deployment.
