Level 1 Technical Support Engineer
Established in December 2001, eServGlobal Telecom Romania is a joint-venture equally owned by eServGlobal (www.eservglobal.com) and SoftNet Group Romania (www.softnet.ro) that has been
constantly growing in the past years.
eServGlobal specializes in Mobile Money solutions and Value-Added Services (VAS), to help Telco Service Providers increase their revenue and gain and maintain customer ownership.
-Degree in engineering with main focus telecommunications and computer science.
-Customer oriented. Focused on problem resolution.
-Advanced level of English. French is a plus.
-Proven Knowledge of Unix (System Level).
-Knowledge of shell scripting (sh, ksh, awk) is a plus.
-Familiar with SQL and database engines administration.
-Knowledge of telecommunication protocols for value added services is a plus.
-Team player who is self motivated and can work independently.
-Willing and able to learn quickly new skills and technologies.
-Willing to work in 12 hours shifts (nights and weekends included).
-Execute remote interventions and monitoring activities on the client servers when necessary.
-Incident tracking and updating using eServGlobal tracking tools.
-Maintaining communication with the customer and with support higher levels.
-The work is done from our Bucharest office in 12 hours shifts in order to cover 24/7 operation.
