Sports Betting - Translator (English and another European Language)

Our Partner is a multinational provider of premium turnkey sports betting solutions to B2C operators. Their solution encompasses a broad offering from front-end through to odds compiling and risk management. The company’s current coverage includes more than 110,000 live betting events and 250,000 pre-match events per year covering 65 different sports from all over the world. We are now looking for a multilingual person to join the Translations team in Bucharest, reporting to the Head of Special Bets & Translation in London.

Main purpose with the role - The position includes responsibility for achieving and maintaining a superb quality and standard on our many different translated sites.

The ideal person will make translations directly and will also facilitate and supervise the collaboration with external various suppliers. There is a lot of analytical work in the position, and an eye for detail is a must here. The ideal candidate speaks English and is fluent in preferably two other European languages.

It would be great if you have:
1-3 years background in translation - English and another European language Experience in betting at least on a personal level or Knowledge of betting and the gambling industry
A university degree, preferably in an analytical or language field

•Be structured and well organized - handle many different projects at one time

The ideal candidate speaks English and is fluent in preferably two other European languages or at least another one, besides English language.
1. 20% of the role = odds compiling (something that can be easily learned if you have ever placed bets)
2. 80% translations = the person should ideally speak a third language, except RO and EN.
