Electrical Engineer

• Education:
 Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering (Electrical or Electro technical)
• Working experience:
 More than 5 years experience of electrical design & engineering in international oil & gas industry
• Skills & Knowledge:
 LV/HV Electro technical equipment used in oil & gas industry (motor, electrical heater and associated Thyristor control panel, transformer, HV/LV switchboard, MCC, UPS, lighting, …)
 Power load, cable section and lighting calculations
 ATEX norms (advanced)
 ISO, ISA and IEC norms for E&I (advanced)
 IT: Caneco (advanced), DIALux or equivalent (advanced), AutoCAD (basic skills), MS Office tools (advanced)
 English (oral & written: advanced)
 Positive and pro-active attitude
 Time organization and sharing capability in order to work simultaneously on several projects
 Capacity to explain and convince
 Respect of budgets and deadlines
 Mobility for equipment inspection in supplier workshop, construction supervision and site assistance as required by client

 Client technical specifications review, analysis, comment and implementation in all the engineering deliverables,
 Electrical basic & detailed design engineering deliverables development,
 Rotating equipment and package specification/requisition review and validation for relevant electrical equipment,
 LV/HV electrical equipment specification/requisition development and technical bid evaluation,
 Power cables section calculation, specification/requisition development and technical bid evaluation
 Lighting studies with calculation note, specification/requisition development and technical bid evaluation
 Earthing & Lightning design and studies,
 Electrical data checking and consolidation from LV/HV electrical equipment, package and rotating equipment suppliers,
 Technical interfaces with other disciplines : instrumentation, piping, heater, process, civil, vessel, etc.,
 Follow up and comply with the planning for the electrical deliverables and activities,
 Vendor documents review,
 Vendor databook validation,
 LV/HV electrical equipment factory inspection,
 Verification of the PID for electrical part,
 3D model review,
 Develop and/or check the electrical engineering documents such as :
o List of consumers and power load calculation,
o Single line diagram,
o Electrical layout drawings (LV/HV electrical equipment, lighting, earthing, lightning)
o Cable routing design and layout,
o Cables list,
o Cable section calculation,
o Junction box and local panels wiring diagrams,
o Earthing principle diagrams,
o Lighting calculation and lighting schematic diagrams,
o Installation and mounting typical diagrams,
o Electrical material take-off,
