Regional Facility Manager (Romania)

We are looking for a Regional Facility Manager (Romania) with flexible location in any of the following places: Pitesti, Timisoara, Brasov, Hunedoara or Satu-Mare.

University Degree in electrical engineering or supply technology or comparable education
Experience in construction, maintenance and all facets of facility operation, supervisory experience
Sound knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations
Negotiation skills, decision-making, customer service orientation, influencing and persuading skills
Adaptable and open to other cultures, values, ways of thinking
Excellent English language ( writing and speaking )
Project Management Knowledge
Management Proficiency, Process Improvement, Tracking Budget Expenses, Performance Management
Knowledge of financial principles and practices
Knowledge of principles and practices of business administration

Supports strategic planning in the own area by breaking down and/or working out the strategic planning within a short/medium term.
Plans and manages the budget in the area of responsibility as agreed to by the supervisor and ensures adherence.
Develops and implements personnel planning in the area of responsibility as agreed to by the supervisor and ensures the commitment of the employees according to their qualifications in the above-mentioned area (e.g. Energy and Environment Management, fire protection, security.
Disciplinary and functional management of employees in the reporting area and makes personnel decisions in cooperation with the Personnel Department.
Ensures implementation of central targets by the departments SI1 – SI5.
Acts as key contact towards the public authorities, offices, customers, special departments, etc.
Ensures and controls maintenance of the company facilities as required by the sites and ensures regular inspections are carried out (incl. testing by experts).
Ensures adherence to the regulations of Occupational Safety and Health Protection, Fire and Environment Protection, Mobility Services and Travel Management on the basis of regular inspections.
Adheres to the relevant laws, norms and external and internal guidelines of the DRÄXLMAIER Group within the scope of a legally watertight organization.
Exercises a supporting function for plans in construction and for re-construction projects.
Ensures and controls external companies, inspects the provided services and follows up warranties in the various sub-sections based on the country-specific laws and regulations.
Regular interaction with the SI1-SI5 interfaces at the headquarters and with each of those responsible interfaces of the affected corporate units (e.g. site speakers, Delta Group).
Ensures maintenance of the IT systems relevant to SI, such as e.g. smotive, audimex.

Objective of the Position:
 To manage several smaller or larger related Site Infrastructure units usually with the various functions Facility Management, Security, Environment, Health & Safety, Mobility Services, Travel Management in a region/country.
 To ensure implementation of all the relevant SI topics at the various sites.
