As a Project Manager for our Global Business Service Center, you will lead regional service teams from idea to implementation for moderate to significant continuous improvement initiatives. You will be responsible for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project.
    You will also lead in the application of Global Business service excellence and six sigma practices and methodologies. You will manage project plans, mitigate risk, and own the validation of project results.     WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?

    Required:
    • Significant related experience : min 5 years in Project Management
    • Demonstrated ability to recognize process improvement opportunities, apply project management & quality optimization tools to drive improvements
    • Demonstrated ability to recognize process improvement opportunities, apply project management & quality optimization tools to drive improvements, identify & address related employee training needs
    • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to partner with key internal/external customers in order to drive change and continuous improvement
    • Strong business acumen and leadership and decision making skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to build consensus and strong commitment from others
    • Experience presenting results to an executive team
    • Experience working for a multi-national organization and working with colleagues in other locations as well as international locations
    • Experience with Project Management Tools (internal, external, MS Project, or similar)
    • Business partnering experience – ability to build partnership relation with stakeholders
    Preferred:
    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Prior experience in a continuous improvement or business process improvement role
    • Statistical analysis experience, including assessment of significant differences, sampling plans, and control charts
    • Experience with: Process Mapping, Value Stream Mapping, Problem Solving Method 8D, FMEA
    • Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP)
    • LEAN Six Sigma certification or training
    • Strong influential skills
    • Experience working in a process or data driven environment

    WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
    In your role as Project Manager Improvement at Kellogg, you will be part of our success by:
    • Leading cross-functional projects to develop and implement new programs and process improvements
    • Managing projects in accordance with GBS established methodologies focused on LEAN and Six Sigma
    • Scope multiple parallel projects and set specified timelines for deliverables
    • Managing project schedules, progress and costs to ensure results are delivered on time and within budget
    • Using a rigorous risk identification and mitigation process on an ongoing basis
    • Ensuring that risk related costs are included in project budgets and forecasts
    • Ensuring that risk considerations are incorporated into project schedules
    • Adjusting, update and communicate project plans as needed
    • Working closely with Process Owners to understand business objectives in order to scope projects appropriately
    • Presenting and lead conversations about projects, issues, solutions, and strategy to senior leaders
    • Providing functional expertise to assess potential financial and operational impact of projects or issues
    • Developing & deploy communications and training materials that support project implementation
    • Collaborating with other Continuous Improvement Leaders to share best practices
    • Reporting to all levels of the GBS and Client organization, selecting content and messages depending on audience
    • Compliance with GBS reporting requirements
