Automotive CAD Engineer

The company comprises 2 divisions specialized on its core capabilities: ENGINEERING and IT. These two divisions are: ALTEN TECHNO and ALTEN IT.

Technical Requirements:

• Experience in the automotive industry
• 3D Design (creation & evolution, part, assembly)
• Engineering Drawings (2D) – updating
• Teamcenter
• Global Engineering Process
• Specific CAD & teamcenter engineering process (creating, freezing, releasing)

Other Requirements (Competencies):

• Bachelor’s Degree in automotive
• Relevant experience in a similar position
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Fluent English

Job Responsibilities:

• Create and update 3D models and 2D drawings from existing documentation
• Follow the evolutions and requirements with Lead Engineers, suppliers, manufacturing team, package checking team
• For parts redesign: check application of the client’s rules for components, clashes, environment, dynamic movements of the components etc.
• Update 2D drawings from existing 3D models
• Update simple 3D models

• Teamcenter visual mockup and digibuck (exported teamcenter models)

• RMDV Doors
• WERS
• PACN

• Redbook

• Migration in progress on: Enovia – project iPLM (database and visualization) & CATIA V6
• Microsoft Office (PowerPoint)
