Advanced Supplier Quality Engineer

- Bachelor or Master degree education, preferably technical school;
- Special skills/knowledge - internal auditor, ISO 9001 / ISO/TS 16949, VDA 6.3, Quality tools - APQP, SPC, FMEA, 8D, 5 Why, MSA, PPAP or equivalent;
- English language fluently;
- Advanced PC skills, Office, Outlook, Power Point or similar;
- Minimum 2 years experience in quality or engineering, automotive industry;
- Good communication, negotiation and organizing skills;
- Analytical, strategic thinking;
- Open to travel in Romania and abroad;
- Ability to communicvate well with various functions and levels within organization;
- Ability to organize and plan work.

- Coordinates supplier development activities with assigned supplier;
- Lead advanced product quality planning activities with assigned suppliers;
- Responsible for potential new supplier assessments, supports in the selection and development of new supplier, resolves supplier design, gauging, manufacturing, assembly and packaging issues;
- Conducts launch readiness prior to start-of-production;
- Works actively with suppliers’ in cost reduction and lean manufacturing initiatives;
- Evaluates supplier development plans/programs and recommends opportunities for improvement;
- Obtains, maintains and provides key supplier performance data to management and project / plant cross-functional teams and interfaces with these teams on a regular basis.
