    Now we are creating exciting opportunities in Bucharest with the opening of a new Service Centre at Floreasca Business Centre (adjacent to Aurel Vlaicu Metro). The Service Centre will house our European Finance team to support our entire European business across more than 20 countries.
    Grow with US as an Order to Cash Associate specialising in deductions & credit. Working within the OTC team who carry out the entire end to end process, you will be responsible for proactively contacting customers to ensure payments are in progress and for processing all trade and non-trade deduction. You will be also be managing the end to end rebate and overpayment process and processing delivery issues in liaison with the distribution team.
    WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
    As an Order to Cash Associate, you will be part of our success by:
    Customers and Operations:
    Scanning and storing debit note/trade invoices provided by the Customers
    Preparing and sending ad hoc reports to local markets with the open deductions
    Processing Trade Deductions, including park trade invoices
    Directing trade invoices to the right approver in the Local Market
    Processing Trade Deductions analyzed and validated by Local Markets.
    Conducting trend analysis to drive continuous improvement related to deduction processes and systems
    Maintaining a constant focus on achieving and surpassing established metrics
    Ensuring consistent application and adherence of all Kellogg OTC policies, including GAAP, SOX, corporate tax structure, and audit requirements as well as adhere to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
    Providing direction and assistance to global team in resolving issues to meet deduction metrics
    Performing analysis for customers
    Reviewing and authorizing credit for new customers and payers
    Managing requests of credit reviews
    Reviewing financial statements both quantitatively and qualitatively to assess risk
    Capability-Building and Innovation:
    Building individual skills and capabilities through learning opportunities such as training courses and on-the-job training; strive to be a process champion or expert for the end-to-end OTC process
    Contributing to the overall learning of the OTC Team through sharing of best work practices and peer-to-peer coaching
    Supporting implementation of improvements for process efficiency and quality, as well as control Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
    Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to make the processes more effective; may also need to assist with ad hoc projects
    Other responsibilities as assigned by GBS Leadership

    Responsibilities

    WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?

    Required
    High School Diploma or equivalent
    Experience in finance or a related field
    Language Skills: English
    Two second languages: Spanish, Italian, French or German (depending on specific market assignment)
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Access and Excel
    Strong verbal and written communication skills
    Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
    Independent problem solving, negotiation and decision making and time-management skills
    Preferred
    University Degree or equivalent
    Experience with SAP ERP system
    Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
    Ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities and specific time constraints
    Experience working in a shared services, process driven or service center environment
    Expertise in Order-to-Cash function including best practices, technologies, processes, procedures and tools
    Training and certification in Six Sigma or LEAN
    Experience working for a multinational organization and working with colleagues internationally
