    Now we are creating exciting opportunities in Bucharest with the opening of a new Service Centre at Floreasca Business Centre (adjacent to Aurel Vlaicu Metro). The Service Centre will house our European Finance team to support our entire European business across more than 20 countries.

    Grow with US within our Order to Cash team who manage and carry out the entire order to cash process for Europe. Working within a team of 20 associates, you will specialise in either of the following areas:

    FINANCE CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS & DEDUCTIONS ASSOCIATE:
    Grow with US as an Order to Cash Associate, specialising in customer accounts and deductions. You will be responsible for proactively contacting customers to ensure payments are in progress as well as managing and solving any invalid deductions on customer accounts.

    WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

    Working within our OTC team as Order to Cash Associate you will be part of our success by:

    Customers and Operations:
    Serving as a single OTC point of contact for assigned customers and sales
    Maintaining a full understanding of customers’ strategies, policies, and key personnel, as well as Kellogg’s terms of sale, internal policies, and key personnel
    Proactively chasing to the Customers to ensure invoices are received and the payment is in progress
    Managing and resolving the collection of aged receivables for assigned customers
    Managing invalid deductions that require direct customer or sales support
    Managing and solving escalated deduction issues for UK Customers including: Trade Deductions, Pricing Deductions and Coupons
    Facilitating OTC problem resolution including managing the order holds or releases decision process
    Participating in sales trade strategy discussions
    Ensuring consistent application and adherence of all Kellogg OTC policies, including GAAP, SOX, corporate tax structure (i.e., ROUPEE), and audit requirements as well as adhere to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
    Conducting trend analysis to drive continuous improvement related to OTC processes and systems
    Maintaining a constant focus on achieving and surpassing established metrics
    Proactively partnering with internal and external customers to identify trends and resolve OTC issues
    Working with management and peer groups to maintain Kellogg GBS in top quartile on all benchmarking measures and metrics
    Providing direction and assistance to global team in resolving issues to meet OTC metrics
    Capability-Building and Innovation:
    Building individual skills and capabilities through learning opportunities such as training courses and on-the-job training; strive to be a process champion or expert for the end-to-end OTC process
    Contributing to the overall learning of the OTC Team through sharing of best work practices and peer-to-peer coaching
    Supporting implementation of improvements for process efficiency, quality and control Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
    Working on special projects and continuous improvement initiatives; identify opportunities to make the processes more effective
    Participating in pilots or service rehearsals before major changes are implemented; conduct system testing for technology upgrades

    Responsibilities

    WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?

    Required:
    High School Diploma or equivalent and significant experience in a related field required
    Language Skills:
    Fluent in English
    Two second languages: Spanish, Italian, French or German (depending on specific market assignment)
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Access and Excel
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong customer service skills
    Deep analytical and problem solving skills
    Strong negotiation and decision making skills
    Preferred:
    University Degree or equivalent
    Knowledge of collections, deductions, and/or customer service
    Experience with SAP ERP system
    Customer relationship management experience
    Sense of urgency and ownership of resolution, meeting established performance objectives and customer commitments
    Ability to work in a team environment
    Strong knowledge of service center processes and procedures
    Ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities and specific time constraints
    Solid time management skills
    Experience working in a shared services, process driven or service center environment
    Expertise in Order-to-Cash function including best practices, technologies, processes, procedures and tools
    Training and certification in Six Sigma or LEAN
    Experience working for a multinational organization and working with colleagues internationally
    Processed and Packaged foods industry experience
