About the candidate

•A bachelor or above degree in computer science related fields
•More than 2 years’ experience with Java SE, Java EE
•Good problem solving skills
•Familiar with design methods/technologies, like object-oriented design, UML analysis, Design Patterns etc.
•Good communication skills
•Fluency in English
•Self-starting and self-motivating
•Pro-active, dynamic, focused on results

Nice to have
•Good experience with Application Servers, such as Weblogic, Websphere, JBoss, Tomcat, GlassFish etc
•Experience with GWT and relevant CSS knowledge (previous work experience with Sencha GXT or Smart GWT is a big plus)
•Experience in Java UI development using Swing, SWT is a plus
•Skills in using SOAP / REST Web Services
•Good knowledge of Spring framework technologies, like RMI, AOP.
•Proven team player capability
•Experience working with remote teams
•Experience in large-scale multi-tier software applications

•Researches, designs, develops, configures, integrates, tests and maintains existing and new business applications and/or information systems solutions including databases through integration of technical and business requirements. Applications and infrastructure solutions include both 3rd party software and internally developed applications and infrastructure. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
•Analysis of business requirements
•Coding of modifications or new program
•Creation of documentation
•Testing and maintenance of applications, infrastructure, and information systems
•Works within the Information Technology function, obtaining resources and working in support of objectives and strategies
•Provides required documentation and participates in architecture reviews to ensure that the solutions comply with standards and use approved technologies

HPE UCMDB Frontend is a collection of 4 user interfaces which allow the UCMDB administrator as well as the regular UCMDB consumer to discover, view, edit and analyze the UCMDB CIs (i.e. configuration items) in a visual manner. Each application targets a different consumption use case, with UI complexity varying from very simple (targeting end users with limited technical knowledge), to experienced UCMDB users which run all operations from configuration to the actual data visualization. Some of the UIs use more mature frameworks like Java EE & GWT, while others use cutting edge ReactJS, Redux and Saas.
