    BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ANALYST  – 1 year temporary contract with Lugera & Makler working for Philip Morris
     
    Ideally, you have a university degree in finance, economics, business administration or equivalent and have substantial work experience within a finance department in a multinational company/international environment. You have good analytical skills and strong business acumen to be able to understand the commercial business environment and processes. Your English level is proficient and you have full command of Microsoft Office tools.
     
     
    RISE TO THE CHALLENGE 

    You will be part of the Business Planning & Development department. You will contribute to the development of a sound corporate strategic plan for the Company. You will provide meaningful reporting and quality analysis on business performance, contribute to projects by analyzing potential and existing business in a manner consistent with the strategic direction of the business. You will provide the support required at a market level to Regional Financial Planning.

    Specifically you will:

    • Conduct various business sensitivity analysis and studies on market impact, industry profitability, scenario analysis on various changes in business conditions (e.g.: price changes, tax changes, legislation changes, etc.) and its impact on the Company (e.g. : Market share, segment share, profitability impact) in order to enable Management to make informed, predictive and intuitive business decision.
    • Provide strategic and analytic expertise to enhance existing business as well as develop and help execute new business initiatives, presenting solutions and recommendations to the management team.
    • Work on business development project such as new product development, entry into new segments.
    • Responsible for producing and maintaining a comprehensive competitor analysis
    • Manage the regular preparation of business performance reporting to Regional Planning Team
    • Design, generate and distribute key monthly management reports together with commentary that succinctly and effectively communicates business performance and highlights key areas of both improved and underperformance
    • Prepare assumptions for the Budget and Rolling Forecast and contribute to the preparation of budget and any supplementary supporting material
