Junior IT Specialist

ModuleWorks is a software component provider for the CAD/CAM industry. ModuleWorks’ expertise in toolpath creation and simulation is recognized throughout the CAM industry and its software components and development services are used by the majority of the leading CAM vendors for sophisticated industry focused solutions across diverse business sectors. ModuleWorks 5-Axis and Simulation software has been used in the manufacturing of complex parts for over a decade and has many users across the global CAD/CAM industry.

Your profile:
* Able to handle hardware maintenance (check faulty hardware, replace components)
* Server administration skills – Windows and Linux (Windows 7, 8, 10 - Debian/Ubuntu)
* Basic Programming skills (able to read/understand written scripts)
* English language proficiency
* Motivated person ready to take on challenges
* Team player

Optional (will provide an advantage):
* Python knowledge (able to read/understand written scripts)
* Basic knowledge of C++
* cmake, make, bash, puppet, javascript, django, php, sql, perl
* CI, CT (Continuous integration, testing)
* Experienced with SCM - at least one of the following: SVN / Git / Hg
* Unattended installations

Job description:
* Hardware Maintenance support

* Installing/configuring/maintaining systems (Windows/Linux)
* Continuous integration system related maintenance and support (involving Linux, Python)
