Job description
Your role as Key Account Manager in L’Oreal is to help develop and execute the strategic sales and marketing plans for the key accounts. You will be responsible for managing all areas of the business relationship with the key accounts and work closely with the various business departments in an effort to maintain and further develop the relationship with the key accounts.
Main Responsibilities
• Build a strong partnership and intense working relationships with key accounts
• Manage accounts sales growth and profitability in line with BU/entity objectives
• Create and implement annual business plan taking into account all levers of growth: commercial, agreements, marketing actions, education, merchandising and retail opportunities, profitability, trade terms, etc
• Monitor the accounts’ performance against business plan and develop alternative strategies when needed
• Communicate critical business information to the appropriate internal contacts for action
• Develop and manage the team. Ensure development of expertise and know-how and support organization changes
• Coordinate and inform field forces (if applicable)
Desired Skills and Experience
Skills, Experience and Knowledge
• Minimum 5 years FMCG experience in Sales/ Marketing and Key Account Management
• Higher education : University degree – Economic; Technical
• English – high level (both written and spoken)
• Advanced communication (written and verbal), organizational, and problem solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, including effective presentation and listening skills
• Building and nurturing internal and external relationships
• Solid understanding of core marketing principles along with commercial and business understanding
• Effective working in close team environment
• Strategic thinking and excellent analytical abilities
