• Proven working experience in web programming
• Good programming skills in front end (HTML, CSS Angular, React), back end (JavaScript, Node, Express ) or a combination of both
• Good database knowledge (Mongo, SQL or Postgres)
• Good algorithmic skills
• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, application monitoring, and best development practices
• Hands-on experiences with network diagnostics and network analytic tools are a plus
• Familiarity with code versioning and control (e.g. Github)
• A driven problem-solver and curious about learning and new skills/knowledge
• An interest in education and product development

• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
• Create website layout/user interface using standard HTML/CSS practices and/or develop back end architecture for web and mobile platforms
• Integrate from various back-end services and databases
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical and customer needs
• Create and maintain software documentation
• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding and improving applications
• Cooperate with other developers, content creators, and product owners
