    The role of Junior Operations Manager belongs to SBU Operations Team and traditionally reports to SBU Country Manager.The role is critical in securing locally the operational structure for other functions (Marketing, Sales). In our multi-SBU organization, the Junior Operations Manager is the local face of Operations in the market, representing voice of Operations in SBU LT. His/her closeness to customers and other SBU functions allows maximum agility and responsiveness and shortens time from decision to execution. 
    The role has a direct influence on the following KPI’s: Forecast Accuracy, In Stock, Stock Turn, Consumer Sales, People Pulse, Customer Pulse (namely Service part).
    The position is open as temporary replacement of maternity leave start 12/2016 and finishing end of 2017.

    Your mission will be to inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow through:

    Junior Operations Manager is responsible and accountable for all SBU operations matters. He/she plays an active and critical role in helping CEEMEA to deliver as one BU in strong collaboration with other SBU teams and the BU team. The key responsibilities include flawless execution of the daily SBU operations agenda, facilitation of local S&OP process and BPR and potentially support BU with specific project. The key responsibilities are detailed below, together with approximate expected time dedicated to each area (split depends namely on market and organizational maturity).

    BU AGENDA (15%): Time investment will fluctuate depending on the need. Includes engagement in the CEEMEA Operations network, incl. traveling to Operations Meetings (3x/year). 

    SBU PROCESSES (65%): this includes the following areas:
    Planning: Facilitator of local S&OP process 
    Execution: Responsibility for SBU’s execution of the plans in short horizon / weekly process, being on top of SBU order portfolio. Attendance to CEEMEA Weekly Operations Call. 
    BPR: facilitates weekly SBU BPR meeting
    Active member of SBU LT
    Regular Customer Service tasks or Logistic Coordination tasks 

    CUSTOMERS (15%): Responsible and accountable for healthy and efficient FOG and FOI from Jirny to shelves (continuous value chain optimization), driving consumer-driven mindset. This includes active participation at customer meetings, facilitation of customers’ understanding of our Operating Model, customer scorecards (namely in-stock and stock turn), distribution costs optimization, EDI, improvement initiatives on Customer Pulse (Service part), etc. Works closely with the Customer Logistics Consultant who brings functional expertise.

    PEOPLE LEADERSHIP (5%): There is no direct people responsibility but is expected that Junior Operations Manager act as a supervisor of Customer Service Advisor(s) (depending on SBU set-up) and needs to have basic team leadership capabilities in order to effectively collaborate with other functions.

    Requirements:

    - University / college degree, domain of expertise is not important. Continuous learning mindset is an absolute must;
    - Minimum 3 years (ideally 5 years) of working experience in an operational function (supply chain, finance / controlling, planning etc.), ideally from a FMCG company; past international / multicultural exposure;
    - Fluent English (written and spoken); Romanian language is advantage;
    - IT: comfortable with MS Office use (advanced use of Excel), at least some experience with SAP or similar system;
    - Role requires business travel abroad (generally ~20 days / year, depending on the location).

    - is exposed – local LT (if exists), BU team, other market functions (incl. Jirny), often acts as a back-up for Country Manager in e.g. Executive S&OP or BPR meeting;
    - is mix of hard (functional) and soft (people, collaboration) challenges;
    - is always in the action, constant stimulation, no monotony.
