• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
• 4+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of Android development.
• Experience with Android SDK.
• Fluent in English
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
• Experience with IoT integration
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Strong objective oriented design and programming skills in Java.
• Knowledge of SQLite, MySQL or similar database management system.
• Familiar with Eclipse, IntelliJ or Android Studio.
• Experience on web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML).
• Using version control (e.g. Git and Mercurial).
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills.

• Act as an Android developer and work closely other developers.
• Deliver across the entire app life cycle –concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support.
• Gather requirements around functionality business rules and translate those requirements into functional solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance and work effectively with other team members to identify and address problems.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency.
• Estimate and meet assigned development goals and target delivery dates.
