    Responsibilities

    EMEA Credit Analyst Central Team Bucharest
    Within HP we support our business units with credit services supporting to maximize revenue while minimizing write-offs. We have a small team located in Bucharest supporting the country / sub-region credit managers in their tasks especially concentrating on the risk evaluation of medium sized direct customers or channel partners. Typically a credit analyst in the central team is working on a portfolio of customers for a specific country cluster. While English is our business language the knowledge of 1-2 additional European languages would be a benefit.
    The credit analyst is reporting into the EMEA Credit Manager for the Central Bucharest Team located in Bucharest as well.
    While the job has a focus on credit analysis and risk protection a close collaboration with the cash collections teams is necessary as the EMEA credit analyst often is also the first escalation level in case of nonpayment from customers or channel partners.

    Responsibilities
    • Uses financial statements to independently determine the financial condition of customers and decides credit limit recommendations for medium monetary value customers.
    • Manages accounts of customers with medium credit limits independently.
    • Resolves credit issues independently.
    • Presents credit recommendations to management.
    • Negotiates down payments with customers of and HP sales staff to allow customer to purchase above their credit limit.
    • Analyzes and researches customer's receivables account delinquency and determines the type of communication method to facilitate payment.
    • Resolves disputes related to customer payment on delinquent accounts and negotiates and ensures payment from customer.
    • Recognizes trends for non- payment and resolves the issues by engaging internal partners at all levels.
    • Initiates the dispute resolution process with internal HP partners and follows issue and ensures resolution for HP and customer.
    • Analyzes at-risk customers and partners and recommends account strategies to prevent delinquencies.
    • May train new team members.
