Deputy Chief Accountant Internal Services

Job Description

To support our growth in Romania, we are currently looking for a Deputy Chief Accountant Internal Services to join our Internal Finance Department.

Summary of Tasks include:

Keeping evidence and booking of fixed assets and stocks;
Reconciliation of accounts with suppliers/clients, bank accounts , taxes accounts etc
Complete and control the period end close processes which includes creation of journal  for accruals, payroll, month end adjustments, intercompany transactions etc.;
Preparing the monthly trial balance
Preparing other reports based on request
Prepare monthly , quarterly fiscal declarations
Prepare financial statements
Monitor and analyses P&L and Balance sheet transactions and ensure their correctness; deal with eventual discrepancies
External and Internal audit support
Support in relation with company bank
Support in relation with fiscal authorities as to ensure clean fiscal records
Obtain all fiscal certificates residency certificates  , follow up for this
Reconciliation between various internal applications as to ensure correctness and completeness of the accounting data
Coordinate  the SCS team in relation with to processing primary documents

Mandatory requests:

Solid experience with SAP;
Experience using Excel;
Knowledge about fiscal issues;
Experience in working with representative state authorities;
English language ‑ advanced level.
