BI Developer

• The BI Developer will be working in a global and highly virtual environment, alongside peers and Project Managers located across core sites (but not limited to) such as Bucharest, Bangalore and Guadalajara
• The BI Developer will be assigned to projects serving internal customers; stakeholder and business contacts may be located in other sites & time-zones, often in the US and/or Western Europe
• Standard working hours: 09:00 – 18:00 or 10:00 – 19:00, but may need to be flexible depending on each project (mix of business and team contacts time-zones)
• Conceptualize, design and develop BI solution in line with Business requirements, working closely with Project manager deciding on technology as required
• The BI solution can be a dashboard, report or analysis that consists of a front-end (in QlikView, QlikSense or MS Excel) and in some cases, a back-end consisting of a MS SQL data base
• Responsible for working closely with project manager and other team members to perform Testing of the newly developed solution (functionality, usability & DQ)
• Implements changes to existing solutions, preferably as part of new project releases
• Develops following the BI Development guidelines in place within the organization
• Prepares documentation for new solutions developed, explaining architecture and detailing steps for solution maintenance and common changes (e.g. changes related to FY readiness)
• Adopts new technologies and techniques deployed within BI&A; take pro-active action to stay up-to-date on technology and to broaden skill-set
