Merchandising Specialist

Sustains merchandising proposals & projects at Sales & Distribution level .
Creates, implements and monitors merchandising solutions.
Implements and communicates merchandising solutions at Orange POS level.
Provides feedback from Shops, Stores and IS, regarding merchandising status and reports to hierarchical superior.
Contribute to the development of digital solutions for retail and back office.

main duties:

1. Operational (incl. Planning):
• Support for the B2C Department, in order to sustain the marketing offers and the new communication strategies, so that the maximum impact on local market is obtained.
• Creates and implements new concepts in order to ensure a better visibility for the products displayed in all Orange POS
• Creates the design elements and the brand’s visual representation for Orange POS.
• Develops and monitors merchandising solutions for the local actions in Sales & Distribution Dept.
• Supports and makes proposals for the implementation of launching actions for all Orange POS.
• Coordinates and distributes merchandising and communication materials for all Orange POS.
• Support for “Field Operations” in POS developing process (Shops, Stores).
• Controls implementation and understanding of merchandising rules at POS level
• Works with Purchasing, Communication, Marketing and Field Operations for acquisition and implementation of new merchandising elements (front office light furniture, new displays, POS materials, etc.) in all Orange POS
• Acts as Contract Supervisor for new acquisitions furniture displays
• Works with Customer Equipment Sourcing & Supply Chain to better coordinate distribution of communication, merchandising materials
• Plans the needs of POS for materials according to footfall, sales results, POS capacity and POS feedback and distributes materials accordingly
• Administrate and checks the accurate implementation of advertising and merchandising materials distribution procedure
• Allocate the advertising and merchandising materials split by regions and sales channels in order to be distributed
• Receives feedback from POS level regarding merchandising materials deployed
• Coordinates promotional (PRO-) materials stock for Shops and Stores

2. Preparing Reports:

Makes periodic visits and visits reports at POS level regarding merchandising solutions status and issues reports to Retail Operations Manager 
Make period report regarding merchandising materials deployed for every launch

professional knowledge& experience/education:

Knowledge/fluency in English, French is a plus
MS Office
Bachelor’s degree
Software skills: Microsoft Excel, Access - medium / high, Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator medium, basic knowledge of vector and image processing
Min 3-4 years retail experience
Experience in store planning, visual merchandising, and strong drafting skills. 
In addition, experience with furniture design for construction, including drawing sections, isometrics and perspectives. 
Experience in materials and display production 
A strong understanding in customer flow and zone planning/zoning
