Database Administrator (support)

Orange Group’s Shared Services Center is looking for a colleague in its Romanian team to contribute to the management of the databases behind strategic services.
The solutions we are providing are being used within Orange Group by multiple countries.

You will be part of a dynamic organization together with service and system engineers, network and security experts, service and project managers.
Your level of responsibility will determine the tasks you carry out in the job. Some work may be pure maintenance while other activities will involve you in database development and tuning.

What you will be doing:
• Perform troubleshooting and planned changes on managed databases while coordinating with the other teams involved.
• Install and configure databases in accordance with standards and project operational requirements 
• Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures. Automate as much as possible
•    Ensure Backup and Recovery strategies
•    Participate in on-call activities

Qualifications
•    Oracle and MySQL databases
•    Oracle Real Application Clusters 10g & 11gR2 and Oracle partitioning
•    Oracle Data Guard
•    RMAN Backup and Recovery
•    PL/ SQL language and shell scripting are nice to have
•    Good knowledge of Linux 

•    Languages : excellent English, French will be a great plus
•    Education: University degree
