Description
Day to day coordination of Transactions from Quotation to Delivery Project
Offer project quotation support for Emerson/ Roxar and ensure requests are handled at a high quality, accurately and in time.
Responsibilities
Receive and review Request for Quotations (RFQ) received from customers and sales offices
Collaborate with World Area Sales Managers, Planning, buying and Project Management groups in the Operations organization and Technical Product Managers and Commercial Managers from the Product Business Lines during the quotation and delivery project phases to ensure a smooth flow of information and process throughout the sales cycle and offer the most suitable and realistic proposal for deliveries
Size and select the products according to specifications, customer commercial and legal requirements and application
Select and scope the appropriate technical documentation to be included in the delivery, making sure cost impacts are properly addressed in the quotation phase
Collaborate with the Operations Planning and Purchasing departments to specify a realistic delivery time for the selected products
Get appropriate approvals during the quotation phase, according to Roxar DOA ( commercial, technical, delivery terms, credit terms, warranty, etc)
Document and follow up on technical and commercial clarifications, properly documenting them through the use of the available clarification templates. Ensure all clarifications are closed before accepting Purchase Orders.
Responsible for coordinating different elements required to build the technical and commercial proposal and submitting the quotation to the WA Sales office/customer within the allotted deadline where possible
Upon receipt of Purchase Order, perform an in depth review of the Purchase Order (PO) to ensure that it is according to the latest valid proposal submitted to the customer.
Communicate with customers/World Area Sales managers to re-issue if necessary the PO in case of non-conformities
Prepare the CRF/ HOF packages and hand it over to order handling for further processing.
For PMO projects, attend Handover Meeting with Operations representatives and ensure a clean handover is performed.
For Standard orders ( AE orders and flow assurance KOB 2 and KOB 3 projects) act as project managers: monitor the order execution up to the delivery and invoice and be the first point of contact for customers
For AE orders responsible to create the BOM structures in TCE and Work Orders (WO) and send the BOM’s together with WO to procurement for material purchases.
Prepare and send Order Acknowledgement to customers/ sales offices
Proactively follow up orders with operations/customers to make sure they are delivered on time.
If in scope creation of documentation ( MRB, SMDL, user manual etc) and submission of documentation to customers
Prepare transport requisition form (TR) based on packing list received from logistics/ order administrators
Ensure customer approval on TR is received before shipment
Provide general support/ expertise in a timely manner for Emerson/Roxar
Develop and maintain a sound knowledge of products and applications
Draw-up specific activity reports.
Requirements
University degree in Engineering
3 years experience in a similar position or in a commercial environment (technical support, quotations, technical sales);
Structured, organized, good at planning his/her work, honors deadlines, communicates issues both positive and negative
Ability to understand technical architecture (including but not limited to: instrument data sheets, project requirement specifications, etc.)
Languages: English–advance level (mandatory)
PC skills: MsOffice, Internet.
