Test Engineer

Cmed is as an innovative full service, technology-led CRO and developer of advanced eClinical & smart data capture technologies. The company has two divisions: Cmed Clinical Services and Cmed Technology.

Technical degree
Good understanding of software testing principles and commercial development languages, tools and practices
Familiarity with bug tracking, test management and collaboration tools
Experience in writing automated test scripts and manual tests cases
Experience with functional, integration, user acceptance and regression testing
Experience on Linux / UNIX platforms
Familiarity in testing web apps
Strong oral and written communication in English

Perform all testing activities and provide initiatives across one or more assigned projects, utilizing testing processes, techniques, and tools
Design testing strategies for optimal feature coverage in complex Web and Mobile / Apple iPad applications
Assess risks and decide the extent of testing needed (prioritize tests)
Write automated test scripts in Gherkin language (BDD) for multi-browser & mobile testing with Selenium on SauceLabs
Design manual test cases to cover software requirements
Perform reviews and update / maintain existing automated test scripts and manual test cases
Test Web apps, report the software defects, keep track and make sure that software engineers are aware of them throughout the SDLC
Report on test execution results
Highlight and report blocking issues
Configure and maintain the test environment and tools
Contribute to and provide feedback on the product documentation and associated processes
May mentor or train team members
