Our client is looking for a talented and passionate Software Technical Writer to create best-inclass end-user documentation and technical content for enterprise commercial software. You will have the opportunity to dive deep into cutting-edge technologies, collaborate with product development, marketing, and sales team members, and develop new and creative user guidelines and content documentation. You will be part of a team that works in a fast-paced, agile environment to develop and implement performance management and business analytics solutions. Ideally you would have technical writing experience for enterprise web applications, for both end-user interface and server administration components. You understand both the technical and business capabilities of a web application. You are proactive, highly detail-oriented, have outstanding written communication skills, and able to work independently and in teams.

Qualifications and experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
• At least five years of recent full-time technical writing experience for web applications
• Experience in using screen capture, recording, and publishing applications, such as Camtasia, Snagit, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience in using web applications in an end-user and administrator role
• Experience in documenting and explaining technical concepts for a non-technical audience
• Experience with business and technical terms in the performance management, reporting, and data visualization areas
• Outstanding written communication skills, and strong command of the English language
• Ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines
• Experience in software development and administration is a plus
• A Technical Writing certification is a plus
• Experience with IBM Cognos, Tableau Software, or Qlik View is a plus

Main responsibilities:
• Work with creative designers and product owners to develop standards, styles, terminologies, and guidelines for content and documentation libraries
• Develop high level and detailed product technical architecture diagrams, end-user documentation and manuals, installation and configuration guidelines, how-to videos, and knowledge base articles
• Work with marketing and product owners to develop competitive product diagrams, features and capabilities comparisons, and other marketing architecture documentation
• Work with sales and presales to create product and sample screenshots, and other technical documentation and presentations
