Qualifications:

0-1 years of experience
Good Windows OS and MS Office knowledge, strong knowledge of Desktop hardware (Dell) and basic Windows architecture knowledge (Including AD infrastructure) and Mobile Communications. Blackberry and I-Phone
Understanding of Virtualization, Video Conferencing, VoIP setup and infrastructure, VPN technology (Cisco VPN) and of antivirus usage and malware removal

Candidate Attributes:

Excellent oral and written English communication skills, self-motivated, detail-oriented and have the ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Customer oriented

Provide second level Desktop Support as well as initial troubleshooting for non-desktop related IT requests in the region and other remote locations globally. Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systems (Windows and Mac) and across a range of software applications. Provide support and diagnostics via our enterprise ticketing system
Create, maintain and publish relevant support documentation in order to assist IS colleagues in the quick resolution of incidents and service requests.
Install and configure operating system software, third-party system tools, database systems, applications and other software products supported by the IT Desktop team
Perform software upgrades and new software installation both pro-actively and in response to requests from users of systems
Provide Out of Hours and On Call Desktop support as required
