REQUIRED SKILLS:
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
* Intellectual capacity to assess and understand complex and difficult situations;
* Ability to understand the bigger picture when working on a large project;
* Strong knowledge of ITIL framework
* Strong knowledge of ISTQB framework;
* Strong knowledge of testing best practices;
* Ability to build big picture and consider wider implications of decisions;
* Demonstrate decision making ability using available data and your intuition;
* Ability to build a test team and perform end to end testing, delivering quality software;
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A good listener who can quickly extract the critical information from a mass of detail;
* Influencing skills. Able to make things happen when not in a position of direct control;
* Able to delegate to others, including teams and individuals located remotely;
* Ability to assess risk within a project and recommend appropriate actions;
* Understanding of Business Analysis and Technical Analysis roles.

Other desirable skillset comprises knowledge in the following areas:
* Infrastructure;
* PL-SQL / DBA / Replication
* ORACLE OBIEE, Golden Gate, Web Center, Exadata, BRM;
* IT Security;
* CLOUD / SaaS, PaaS , IaaS.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:
* Strong experience in Quality Assurance best practices;
* ISTQB Test Practitioner certificate or equivalent or demonstrate experience and achievements to his standard;
* Experience in complex projects in the Telco;
* Proven knowledge in Waterfall and Agile methodologies;
* Knowledge regarding DevOps and continuous integration.

Role purpose:
Coordinate Quality Assurance across M2M T&QA team projects.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
* Provide leadership for QA activities;
* Manage a QA team’s daily activities;
* Provide Test Leads with information regarding best practices on Managing Test Automation, Performance Testing and Security Testing in their projects.
* Manage creation of traceability matrices;
* Implement quality controls across team’s testing activities assuring that each project adheres to high quality standards;
* Regular reporting of QA status across team’s projects
* Support Test Leads on driving test approaches to ensure defects are identified early in the test lifecycle;
* Gather the necessary data and perform KPIs measurement and reporting;
* Identify and manage risks, communicating them, their implications and mitigation actions to Quality Assurance Test Manager.
