    Education and Experience Required:

    Associated degree strongly preferred
    Typically 1-2+ years of work experience
    Typically 1+ years of experience in a Procurement or Supply Chain domain

    Knowledge and Skills Required:

    Proven leadership capabilities
    Solid computer literacy
    Knowledge of MS Office suite and Procurement systems such as Ariba SmartBuy a strong asset
    Fluency in one of these: German/French/Italian/Spanish/Greek
    Fluency in English
    Good understanding of Procurement / Supply Chain processes
    Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
    Exposure to project management fundamentals

    Responsabilitati

    Owns and executes procurement processes within area of expertise
    Performs analysis of transactional procurement details to support decision making
    Typically the first escalation point of contact for customer issues related to area of expertise
    Supports the implementation of new corporate-wide procurement processes and systems
    Proactively identifies opportunities for improvements and makes recommendations
    Implements and assures effective business controls through review, analysis, and verification
    Assists in training and mentoring of other team members
    Supports operational analysis and some reporting
    Supports the development, implementation, maintenance and communication of procedures to ensure compliance with procurement and other HPE policies
    Interacts with internal customers on a global basis with some exposure to vendors
    Becomes a Subject Matter Expert
