Mid / Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Requirements

University graduate of a computer science, automation, electronics or a similar technical university;
Minimum 3 years (preferably 5 years) experience in embedded systems design and development;
Excellent knowledge of C and/or C++ programming language (other languages are a plus);
Good knowledge/experience in areas of real-time software engineering, data structures and algorithms;
Experience/knowledge of scripting languages (VB Script, Python);
Knowledge about microcontrollers architecture and design and about communication protocols;
Ability to work effectively independently and as a member of a team in an international environment;
Very good analytical and communication skills;
Ability to clearly and concisely communicate technical information of a complex nature in verbal and written form;
Very good English skills in writing, reading and speaking.

Description of function

Designs, codes and tests embedded software modules, which implements the functionality of their
hardware components (electricity meters);
Participates to requirements analysis and contributes to specifications definition;
Designs concepts for new software components within the platform constraints;
Implements software components according to the defined specifications within time and cost
constraints;
Tests software components according to the defined specifications (unit and integration testing);
Develops test plans and procedures;
Documents software components functionality and utilization.
