Service Engineer Professional

 Mission description and context: 

- Interprets technical customer requests

- Propose solution to customer problems/needs

- Formulates detailed technical Questions in order to identify all the needs

- Support in development of high level and low level design

- Writes procedures/MOPs following customer requirements

- Ability to express needs regarding tools when needed.

- Create and documents WOs in needed

- Continually identify opportunities for service improvement

- Creating , modifying , deleting configurations according to Client Needs

- Documenting all the activities delivered for our Customers

- Engineering activities for new equipment installation, extension, removal

- Engineering activities for new site integration on an existing infrastructure

- Delivers activities reports also from a remote location, provides regular feedback to the project team

- The mission may require travel and stay in France for medium terms (4 to 12 months) work periods

- Candidates are expected to alternate this mission with other missions in Timisoara in the production environment, on a regular basis

Qualifications 

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science or Information Technologies

- Knowledge of ITT (infrastructure, technology & telecommunications)

- Advanced technical college / University of applied science in telecommunication, networking with focus on IP / transmission

- Hands-on experience in the following areas: Alcatel Lucent Service Router, Cisco or Juniper.

- Know how in the one or more of the following protocols and technologies: IP, TCP/UDP, IPsec, VPN,MPLS, SDH, WDM,ATM

- Relevant experience in IP in a technical support environment

- CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, NRS 2 (or equivalent) qualification

- Ability to document information

- Solution design and validation

- Adaptability, Analytical skills, Customer focus

- Knowledge in network architecture

- Experience in other telecom technical domains would be a plus: Mobile & fixed Access, Core & IMS;

- At least three years experience on a similar position

- Customer facing experience

- Knowledge and experience of Data modeling and Data analysis, Business Objects and SQL would be a plus

- Knowledge and experience of scripting and productivity tools: Shell scripts/Perl/Python would be a Plus
