    Requirements

    A mailroom clerk is responsible to main all the mailboxes as per country wise and store the envelopes at an appropriate duration and then handover the boxes to the third party for long term storage. This role is part of a Travel&Expenses team in Bucharest and these are the main responsibilities:

    • Keeping record of all the mails received in an excel log
    • Segregating the envelopes received as per International & Non International VAT category
    • Scanning the bar code of all the envelopes received & place it in the respective mail boxes. To ensure all the mail boxes are labelled as per country wise and mail boxes are also scanned along with the envelope in order to track it in future
    • Investigating & identifying the barcode if its not visible on the envelope while opening the envelope & putting it an appropriate envelope so that it can be scanned
    • Liaising with the clients' employees or helpdesk through an email to trace the employees for missing barcode on the envelope
    • Maintaining a complete track of all the missing barcodes & dropping these Envelopes in the Miscellaneous Mailbox
    • Resolving the queries received from the Helpdesk to trace the envelopes dropped in the Misc. Mail box

    Responsibilities

    • Verbal & Oral communication skills in English;
    • The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, receivers and the management team;
    • Basic Computer Skills for record keeping;
    • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines;
    • Organizational skills;
    • Ownership and accountability of customer issues and self driven.
