The Tire Division currently has 24 production and development locations worldwide. While the Continental premium tire brand is clearly focused on leading safety performance, the broad brand portfolio and product range offer solutions for most of the market segments.     Carry out risk assessments and consider how risks could be reduced; Outline safe operational procedures which identify and take into account all relevant hazards; Carry out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented; Ensure working practices are safe and comply with legislation; Prepare health and safety strategies and develop internal policy; Provide 1st day site safety orientations for all new employees Lead in-house training with managers and employees about health and safety issues and risks; Keep records of inspection findings and produce reports that suggest improvements; Record incidents and accidents and produce statistics; Keep up to date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive (HSE) legislation and any developments that affect the employer's industry; Ensure equipment is installed safely; Advise on a range of specialist areas, e.g. noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases; Come up with improvement ideas and participate in their implementation

    University degree - Technical background Experience in the safety field at least 3 years, preferably in manufacturing industry Health & Safety Certificate (graduation of 80 hours course) Graduated course for Safety Risks Evaluator Advanced English language skills Certificate for internal auditor, according to OHSAS 18001 (is considered a plus) CNCAN authorization (is considered a plus) Safety Coordinator for the construction site (is considered a plus) Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel - advanced level) Problem solving attitude and solution oriented Drive for results and initiative Excellent communication and influencing skills; assertiveness Availability to train people and explain
