Framework Developer & Technical Writer & Coordinator

• Bachelor/Masters of Science in engineering or in a similar technologically oriented field;
• Experience in scripting: Scripting: Bash, Perl etc;
• Docbook, XML, HTML;
• Programming language understanding (reading): C language;
• Previous experience with test automation or framework development;
• Experience as a technical writer in product development with very good command of English language;
• Good level of people skills;

Nice to have:

• Linux knowledge/configuration, packaging;
• Knowledge of embedded and real time operating systems;
• OS development and application development for OS;
• Git/ClearCase versioning system;
• Jira bug tracking;
• C programming;

• Develop and maintain the framework for the documentation of the products;
• Work together with developers in creating the product documentation for various proprietary and open source products;
• Drive documentation process improvements within R&D organization. Articulate, discuss, and act on our client’s product documentation vision;
• Maintain and develop the framework for automating the building and publishing of documentation;
• Build manuals in cooperation with development teams (taking input, review/transforming, publishing);
• Create and review technical documentation (higher level documentation);
• Design and implement the layout and format of manuals in cooperation with Marketing;
• Understand the product features to document at a detail level that their customer need to understand it (our client has an operating system and middleware portfolio);
